Hi, I’m Sade (also known as Shadz), a London based British Nigerian freelance illustrator and graphic designer with a passion for bold, expressive, and culturally rich visuals. My work blends illustration, character design, and storytelling, often inspired by music, film, and everyday culture. Since 2019, I’ve worked independently as a creative, producing custom artwork, album covers, event branding, merchandise, and visual content for web and social media. I’ve collaborated with clients across the creative and cultural industries, including emerging musicians, grassroots organisations, podcasts, and creative agencies. Notable projects include creating visual identities and content for Black Women in Scripted, 1.2 Diaries, and Vague Digital. With experience in both digital and traditional mediums, my work stands out for its originality, detail, and bold aesthetic. I bring a playful yet intentional approach to every project, with a strong focus on concept, impact, and individuality. What sets me apart is my ability to translate stories, identities, and cultural references into visually striking designs, whether it is for print, screen, or physical products. I work confidently both independently and collaboratively, and I am always looking to push creative boundaries while staying true to the message behind the work.
