Carried out preventive/corrective maintenance to medical equipment such as anesthesia machines, surgical lamps, vital signs monitors, mechanical ventilators, and hospital beds in the hospital floor, ICU and operating room. Planned and prepared the COVID containment area in collaboration with the nurse department. Trained nurse personnel on the use of radiant heat cribs and incubators in the neonatal intensive care unit. Updated the biomedical engineering department’s registry on maintenance dates and security inspection dates of medical equipment in ICU and 2 operating rooms in advance for the annual governmental health inspection.
