Cares for animal ambassadors and maintains forest areas on facility grounds. Responsible for feeding and upkeep of diverse aquatic life in lake and aquatic facilities. Preserves health of the lake by debris removal, water-quality assessments, and upkeep of surrounding forest areas. Upholds the Nature Center’s mission of environmental conservation and education by fostering nature and aquatic ecosystems.

Fish Keeper at Sound School

Collaborated with a team of 3 students to ensure 80 catfish were healthy, well fed, and well-kept in the school’s biology center. Exercised excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills to efficiently delegate tasks to students to ensure efficient care for the catfish. Gained knowledge on aquarium maintenance, fish feeding, and routine tank maintenance skillsets.
