Hi, I’m Christopher.
Born in Manhattan, New York, I’ve had the privilege of living in six different countries, marrying the same wonderful woman in two countries, and founding companies in three.
Game Design is unique among the storytelling arts for its ability to make a story memorable through the active participation of the player in telling the story to themselves. I believe game design is chief among the disciplines for storytelling’s proximity to teaching and learning, without which humanity would have no other discipline.
In the past I founded a software company, managing projects, finances, and teams to build MVPs that achieved significant investments and active user bases. This experience allows me to build games according to specific goals set to clear timelines and budgets.

Created an IAP mobile game with a unique mid-battle switch mechanic between auto and turn-based battle modes.
Responsible for game design & mechanics, coding, graphics & animation, sound design, narrative structure, server architecture, and monetization strategy.
Pathing on a hexagonal tile board. I used a node system and the A* algorithm, and calculated angles between nodes based on their coordinates for unit range patterns.
Server-side architecture with API endpoints. I coded in typescript, set up the database in MongoDB and used AWS for the server.
