Marelize Louw

I’m Marelize Louw, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Central Queensland, Australia, currently completing my Diploma of Graphic Design through Billy Blue College (Torrens University). I’m passionate about visual storytelling and creative problem‑solving — two things that sit at the heart of every project I take on.

My style is flexible, shaped by a genuine curiosity for different visual approaches and the desire to find the right solution for each brief. Throughout my studies, I’ve worked on a wide variety of projects, including small business branding, product label design, promotional brochures, GIF animation, and media advertisements. This range has strengthened my ability to adapt, experiment, and design with both intention and personality.

I’m especially drawn to brand design and book illustration, where I can combine strategy with creativity to build visuals that feel meaningful, memorable, and full of character. Whether I’m shaping a brand identity or bringing a narrative to life through illustration, I aim to create work that communicates clearly while still offering something unexpected.

Although I’m at the beginning of my professional journey, I approach every challenge with enthusiasm, determination, and a commitment to continuous learning. I believe great design comes from asking the right questions, exploring ideas, and crafting solutions that feel both meaningful and memorable.

I’m excited to collaborate with clients who value creativity, strategic thinking, and design with personality. If you’re looking for design work that blends imagination with intention, I’d love to connect.
