My name is Gabriele and I graduated in 2022 in Design for the Fashion System at the Politecnico of Milano. My passion for design and the world of fashion started before I graduated from art school, when studying the “architectural structures” of buildings I realized that I was also interested in the shapes of the human body and the way in which they move in space. Since then, I have tried to make the most of my creative skills, allowing myself to be inspired not only by the trends that reflect contemporary society, but also by the fundamental ethical and environmental needs that have emerged in recent times. Throughout my university career, I have engaged in numerous workshops and activities in which I have always tried to express my voice, while communicating through the needs of each request. The businesses with which I had the opportunity to work for, both during and after my studies, allowed me to learn the techniques of the designer’s job concerning not only the creation of a product, but also the transmission of the message that accompanies it. I thus acquired familiarity both in practice, with regards to the necessary manual and digital skills, and in theory, considering the research processes fundamental for the success of each project. If I had to describe myself, I would define me as a practical person who pays attention to details, be they the stitches of a tailored coat or the pixels of an image. Having had the opportunity to experience tasks relating to both the universe of communication and style, I can say that I am able to carry out transversal roles, whether they be for graphics or creative production, with tasks that stimulate me to grow proactively and above all to learn what that I still don’t know about the fashion system. At this moment in my life I would like to further expand my skills without precluding also experiences that require moving.
