I’m Ismael Díaz Quevedo, a Cuban-born sound engineer with over 32 years in television production and live events. Since 1988 I have worked with Cuban Television, designing and operating audiovisual systems for conferences, simultaneous translations, news, sports, and large international broadcasts. I have contributed to studio assembly and design for major events such as the Pan American Games and Olympics, as well as fairs and international broadcasts. I’ve also participated in the production of notable programs including Sabadaso, En Familia, Mi Salsa, and Conciertos en Televisión, taking on roles across audio, direction, and production.
In addition to audio, I’ve served as a director, cameraman, and producer. I was the main engineer for Orquesta Conexión Salsera for 16 years, touring nationally and internationally in Mexico and Europe. For more than a decade I worked as a Sound Engineer for the Hotel Mercury in Seville, organizing and producing shows and events for embassies, companies, weddings, and parties. I am currently pursuing Spanish nationality and look forward to new collaborations across media, live performance, and production projects.
