The Challenge
The client wanted to strengthen its credibility within the influencer marketing space and start
using its proprietary data to lead the conversation, something competitors were already doing
regularly. They’d never published an internal data report before and needed help identifying a
compelling angle that aligned with their positioning and resonated with media and partners.
Method
I began with a competitor content audit to identify what others were publishing and where the
whitespace was. One gap stood out: very few reports focused on the efficiency of working with
smaller creators; an area where my client had deep insight and a clear value proposition.
I analysed a large number of campaign records to surface meaningful benchmarks and trends.
AI tools were used to help build the initial structure of the report and an accompanying press
release. Once the direction was signed off, I brought in a freelance copywriter to refine the final
draft and tone. I also coordinated with a designer to produce supporting visuals that helped
simplify and spotlight the key takeaways.
