    El Dorado is a restaurant located just outside San Juan del Sur; at the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. With a mix of local and expat entrepreneurs, El Dorado has become a benchmark in true Nicaraguan cuisine.

    In order to create a new visual identity, a set of brand values were established. Numerous focused conversations took place with community members, customers and even competitors, leading to these definitive values.

    El Dorado came out as being very much rooted in community; a place where hard work and creativity go hand-in-hand. The new identity honors these values and respects local tradition - while looking ahead with confidence.

    Alongside Studio Wesseling, this project allowed for working with the Royal Dutch Football Federation (KNVB).

    The KNVB brief was to create a holistic identity across all KNVB divisions or ‘voetbal specials’.

    All these specials symbolize the different football initiatives, like womens and girls football, futsal, street soccer and football camps for kids.

    Creating these identities establishes unique new looks for each of the specials, while staying visually unified under the federation umbrella.
