    Finding a job through job platforms can be a tedious process. Some jobs were posted an hour ago and already have more than 100 applicants, how am I supposed to get noticed now?! So to solve this problem I created a simple python script to scrape for new jobs. Now I can apply to them before they get to 100 applicants! After creating the script, I made it into an API using FastAPI. Then added a simple yet effective Vue.js app as the front-end.

    This project helped me play around with Python, a programming language I wasn’t familiar with previously. I made some functional and useful code and an API. I also got to work on my Vue.js and API fetching skills creating the front-end.

    The project can be improved greatly, like adding filtering for jobs and keywords, but so far I’m very proud on how it turned out.
