I was born and lived most of my life in South Africa, with a period of schooling in Tanzania from 1985 to 1990. After completing a BSc degree majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1997, I decided to leave my computer career to pursue my true passion: filmmaking. Since then, I have made independent productions and worked in the formal film industry as a writer, script editor, producer, and director.
I have completed an Honours Degree in Film and TV Studies and a Masters degree specialising in Screenwriting at the University of Cape Town. Today, I freelance as a writer and lecturer in film and TV, focusing on quality storytelling and team collaboration throughout my 25 years of experience.
