Outside of work, I enjoy Kung Fu, rock climbing, and I'm currently learning Japanese. I love taking on new challenges and am always excited about creating engaging games and interactive experiences.

Developed proficiency in TypeScript with no prior knowledge. Took on lead programmer role for the 'Shamrock Saints' project within 6 months and successfully steered development through to release. Developed four games from initial development to release. Familiarised quickly with pre-existing codebase and in-house tools. Collaborated with other developers and assisted in managing their caseloads.

Worked with a team of 5 on a co-op action board game 'Kurat', showcased at EGX and tested by over 1000 players. Incorporated Agile methodologies to keep development on track. Designed and implemented combat system and enemy behaviours using Unity Engine. Game was shortlisted for TIGA Creative Assembly Best Student Game Award 2022 and won Best Student Game at University of Gloucestershire.

Led a team of 2 designers on an action-rhythm roguelike during a self-directed placement year. Served as the sole programmer developing the game in Unity Engine. Gained first experience in building enemy AI and laid foundations for first larger scale project in Unity.
