I am an acclaimed bassist, composer, and music educator with over 30 years of experience shaping the global music landscape. I’m equally at home in jazz, rock, R&B, and avant-garde, and have built a distinctive legacy as a performer, recording artist, author, and nonprofit leader.
I’m passionate about pioneering bass techniques, publishing instructional music books, and mentoring the next generation of musicians. My career also includes founding nonprofits to support music education and producing experimental music through my independent label.

I have been in my studio creating beats and samples for an upcoming project. I enjoy putting my music to film. I believe music enhances the visual.
