My name is Ian Longden, and I am an aspiring filmmaker and a recent graduate from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor's degree in Cinema. I am incredibly passionate about every aspect of filmmaking, including everything this job requires. I admire not only the fantastic filmography of this company but also the availability through said company's streaming services. I am a great fit for this job because I have acquired a wealth of valuable skills throughout my education, particularly in filming, writing, and cinematography, as well as numerous other aspects of post-production, including editing. Throughout my time at school, I have aligned myself with the skills necessary for this internship. I have experience with tracking and making deliveries. I'm also very good at making detailed and organized notes for meetings through my experience as Vice President of my university's film club. I have become very comfortable with compressing footage through my projects and can produce them properly and professionally, inclusive of writing descriptions and labeling footage. Helping distribute marketing materials is an exciting prospect for me. Being even a small part of the distribution chain would be inspiring. I also have experience producing marketing content for social media for various school organizations, which would fit well with this position. My passions would make me a great fit to not just complete, but excel at any other tasks as needed, including archiving and inventory work.
