I’m a self-starting producer and motion graphics/ video editor with a long track record delivering for corporate clients, production companies and major media brands. I spent 7 years at Discovery / WBD as a Motion GFX Designer and Producer and 5 years as Social Video Manager, developing short-form language videos and partly automated multilingual workflows for Discovery’s online and social channels. I also bring a 12-year background in factual documentary production for linear TV, with leadership experience, budgeting, production management and a hands-on approach to supervising edits. My background in biology and science communication helps me create clear, engaging science content across platforms.
Since 2010 I run Kern Productions, producing videos for corporate, charity and private sector clients, filming events and conferences and delivering across websites, YouTube and social channels. I combine creative direction with technical craft and pragmatic problem-solving to meet tight schedules and diverse audience needs.
