Hi, I’m Pietro Antonino — a freelance sound engineer based in Manchester.
I specialise in Sound Editing, Sound Design, and Mixing, with hands-on experience across film, short films, and music projects. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of both the creative and technical sides of sound — from recording and editing dialogue and foley to designing immersive soundscapes from scratch.

🎙️ Location and Studio Recording
I’ve recorded dialogue, voice actors, music bands, and foley both in the studio and on location. This has given me solid working knowledge of microphone types, placement, and acoustic theory, as well as the ability to adapt to a variety of recording environments.
🎧 Post-Production Expertise
I’ve been using Pro Tools for over four years, and I hold an Avid Level 201 Certification after passing the first three professional exams. I’m also experienced with RX8 for dialogue editing and noise reduction, which I frequently use to clean and enhance recordings with precision.
