I am Dr. David Batchelor, a contemporary composer and educator with a passion for choral and orchestral music. With extensive experience in composition, theory, and music technology, I enjoy creating works that blend sacred texts, vocal percussion, and game pieces, as well as teaching music theory and aural skills to diverse student audiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to present workshops and compositions internationally, from Italy to the United States, and to lead music programs at various educational institutions. I thrive on collaboration and constantly seek to develop new resources and textbooks to support composers and musicians.
