I graduated from CSULB with a focus in creative writing through scripts, short stories, and poetry. I’m passionate about the arts and expressing through writing what needs to be said about our lived experiences. I’ve been doing creative writing for the past 4 years building my writing portfolio and learning how to improve constantly. Recently I received my first recognition as a finalist in the CSU Media Arts festival for my short screenplay, which has motivated me even more to continue writing. I moved out on my own 2 years ago and have consistently had a job since I was 16 years old, which has taught me to be independent and motivated me to succeed.
