My role in developing the Perth Food Photography website involved leading the project end-to-end, from initial concept through to final launch. I was responsible for the complete custom design of the site, ensuring that the visual layout, typography, and user experience aligned with the client’s brand and showcased their work in a clean, professional, and visually engaging way. The design was tailored specifically to highlight high-quality food imagery and support the client’s goal of attracting restaurants, brands, and event clients through strong visual storytelling. The site structure and navigation were carefully planned to guide users through services, portfolio content, and enquiry pathways in a seamless and intuitive way.

On the development side, I fully custom-built the website using WordPress, implementing a flexible and scalable system that allows the client to easily manage and update their own content. The build prioritised performance, responsiveness, and usability across all devices, ensuring the website functions smoothly while maintaining a polished presentation of imagery and content.

In addition to design and development, I provided support with copywriting and SEO to help position the website effectively online. This included refining messaging to clearly communicate the client’s services—such as food photography for restaurants, events, and products—and optimising page structure, headings, and content for search visibility. The result is a cohesive, high-performing website that not only reflects the brand’s identity but also supports lead generation and long-term digital marketing efforts.
