For the last 13 years I have worked across a full range of titles – Carpworld, Crafty Carper, International Herald Tribune, Raconteur, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, The Sun on Sunday and before it's closure, The News of the World. The range of projects has been diverse, including work on iPad, iPhone, online, UX, events, animation, print and branding. I believe in working to a high standard and have helped to win some great pitches. I set the foundations of my brand and typographic skills early in my career, at brand agency called Bagshawe Associates and a publishing company called Angling Publications. During these valuable years, I created websites, designed magazines, posters, flyers, B2B comms and exhibitions – one of which was exhibited at the National Theatre. I worked closely with clients, and my skill set enabled me to see projects through, from concept to finished artwork. From early on, I’ve had a passion for design – it was all I wanted to do. I studied the subject at Huddersfield University and took a BA Hons Creative Imaging Advertising and Design, achieving a 2:1. With over four years of creative design and advertising learning, and two years of project management knowledge, I have acquired highly organised and proactive approach to both areas.
