Dear twine team,
My name is Ammelie Wessels, 24 years young, made in Germany – currently with a creative home base in Barcelona. Fresh from my Master‘s studies in Editorial Design at ELISAVA (Barcelona) and with a Bachelor’s in Communication and Web Design (Hamburg, 2022) in my backpack, I am now ready for my next creative playground.
I speak German and English fluently, and in Spanish, I am almost as proficient as in Low German, so smooth communication is guaranteed. Perhaps there is an opportunity to welcome me to your team – I would be happy to be available from January 1, 2026.
For further information, my CV, and my portfolio, please feel free to visit my website: Website not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup

The Chandelier Paper is an editorial platform that weaves together a wide spectrum of topics through thought-provoking narratives and diverse perspectives. By connecting seemingly unrelated stories, we invite readers to immerse themselves in the content — not to find a single truth, but to explore layers of meaning and to uncover what lies beneath the surface.

I Googled Japan and Created This is an experimental journey through Japan —
a collection of unexpected stories, moments,
and impressions. It’s not a guidebook, but an evolving inventory of the strange, the
surprising, and the wonderfully bizarre things we encountered along the way.
Inspired by the disorienting, exhilarating feeling of arriving in a new country — where everything is unfamiliar and just a little outside your comfort zone — this book embraces curiosity over certainty. It’s made up of 19 independent chapters that weave together essays, columns, interviews, personal reflections, and visual fragments. The structure is intentionally fluid, breaking away from traditional storytelling.
We don’t claim to know the “real” Japan, nor do we have a specific goal. What we do have is an open mind, a sense of wonder, and a willingness to learn. And through this journey, we invite our readers to do the same.
Let’s wonder more.

Naked Eye is a magazine that explores the philosophy of perception, and the inextricable link between the visible and the invisible. It dives into the vulnerabilities of seeing — what we perceive, what we overlook, and how our eyes both reveal and deceive.
The goal of the magazine is to inspire a more profound and conscious way of seeing, by exposing our blindspots, sharpening perception, and deepening awareness. We cater to an audience who, like us, like to look beyond the immediately observable world.
When curating each issue, we seek diverse perspectives and intentionally blur the lines between science, philosophy, art, and personal insight. By avoiding rigid labels, we invite readers to interpret freely. We pair existing artworks with texts to reframe context, offering fresh meaning and new layers of reflection.
