Richard Wilkinson

I’m Richard Wilkinson, a Senior Music Designer & Composer specializing in immersive and interactive audio for VR, AR and beyond. With 15+ years in interactive, VR/AR audio for mobile and console, I work closely with design and code to implement audio systems that fit the team’s resources and requirements. I’m fluent in Wwise, FMOD, Reaper, Logic, Ableton, Final Cut and other leading tools, and I enjoy shaping sound into experiences that users remember.

I’m a sound-systems specialist creating world-class, human-centred sonic experiences for VR, mobile and themed attractions. I’ve led multi-disciplinary audio teams, solved tricky problems, and delivered audio that makes everything sound better. I’m currently composing for Thief: Legacy of Shadow and exploring sonic branding and trailer design through Episonic and collaborations with major studios.
