Hi, I’m Migada Perera, a graduate software engineer that has completed my final year of a Bachelor of Software Engineering with Honours at Victoria University of Wellington. I have hands-on experience in full-stack development using React, TypeScript, Golang, and Rust, and I’m passionate about building scalable and fast client-focused web solutions. During my recent role as a Research Assistant at CRISiSLab, I tested LoRa mesh devices in the field, created a network of LoRa mesh devices in the community, and was part of a team that created a monitoring and management system for the devices in the network. I’ve also contributed in roles outside engineering, like as a workshop manager and a valet parking attendant, which strengthened my teamwork and communication skills.
