Dr Yifei Ren is a network security researcher, full-stack engineer, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience bridging academic research and real-world technology deployment. He holds a PhD in telecommunications from the University of Wollongong and is an Advance HE Associate Fellow. His technical expertise spans a wide stack: network engineering and cybersecurity (SDN, zero-trust architecture, post-quantum cryptography, encrypted protocol design), AI and machine learning (deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, model optimisation), full-stack software development (Python, Go, C/C++, Dart, JavaScript; FastAPI, Django, Flutter, SvelteKit, Nuxt.js), cloud-native and DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker, microservice architecture, hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure), and embedded systems and industrial IoT (OPC UA, Modbus, PLC programming, SCADA).
