Core Contributor - Slot Game Engine at Abzorba Games

November 15, 2023 - Present

Core contributor to a scalable slot game engine used in multiple shipped titles. Developed reusable systems accelerating game production and migrated various slot games to the new engine. Led development of Cash Race, a unique Aviator-style multiplayer game, and created internal tools that improved engineering workflows and overall productivity.

As part of my bachelor's thesis, I developed a mixed-reality, multi-layer escape room game called 'White Room' running in an ambient intelligent environment with Microsoft HoloLens 2 MR glasses. Implemented using Unity 3D with AR Core, Angular and NodeJS. Also developed the Knossos AR mobile app to teach users about the Palace of Knossos, with 12 sights supporting AR-guided tours; created an automatic texture baking pipeline using Blender 3D and Python; and built a 2D editor tool for shaping exhibition spaces for high-performance, high-fidelity visuals in stand-alone VR and mobile devices.
