I’m Zoe Cheng, a bilingual designer and communication design major at Parsons from Taiwan, based in New York City, focused on communication design, visual storytelling, and culturally grounded content for accuracy, fluency, and localization. I’m fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and I enjoy combining design craft with language-aware refinement to help ideas land clearly and naturally for real audiences. I’ve supported contemporary gallery operations and helped with exhibition preparation, including simple Photoshop mockups to strengthen artwork presentations. Alongside my full-time studies, I freelance as a Bilingual AI Content Evaluator, working independently while balancing coursework. I also bring a strong creative foundation—Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, plus tools like Premiere, Figma, and Procreate—along with attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and time management.( Portfolio Link:_Website not available. WASTE NOT

This 30-page picture book was created during my senior year of high school as a research-based project aimed at improving my school community. Designed and illustrated entirely in Procreate on my iPad, the book explores how storytelling can help reduce food waste among Grade 1–3 students at my international school in Taiwan. Commonly discarded vegetables and fruits are reimagined as sources of “superpowers” grounded in real nutritional science. The story follows Max (a student), who time-travels to a future devastated by food waste, then to an alternative world where food is valued. By combining imagination, joyful storytelling, and educational research, the project influenced younger students’ attitudes and behaviors toward food waste.
