    Petra is the world’s third largest producer of rough diamonds by value, supplying these rare and precious gemstones to the Jewellery industry safely and to the highest ethical standards.

    The primary goal of the project was to give Petra Diamonds’ new website a high-end feel while improving the overall layout, sitemap, and user experience. The previous site had become outdated, requiring a thorough review, refinement, and consolidation of all content.
    A key focus was highlighting their core figures and mine information, making these stand out across the site. The client provided a wealth of stunning imagery, which we combined with our design to create an engaging style.

    We designed custom layouts for most pages, incorporating bespoke functionality, including animations and fixed-background banners that interact with the content to create a dynamic experience. The result is a striking new website that showcases Petra Diamonds’ assets, provides intuitive navigation, and delivers a polished, high-end user experience.

    Nanoco is the market leader in the research, development, licensing and large scale manufacture of novel nanomaterials for use in various commercial applications.

    When designing the company’s new website, we had to accommodate numerous illustrative graphics and diagrams within already extensive content, ensuring everything was clearly structured and easy to navigate. The site also needed to be simple and consistent for content management. Keeping this in mind, we designed templates for the key page types. We balanced the many colorful elements with monochrome content blocks, using these to highlight important information and make interactive elements and visual illustrations stand out. The hero image on the homepage, created with AI (visible after an animation by an external 3D artist), was initially intended as a temporary solution, but shortly before launch, the client decided it was the most suitable option among all stock image alternatives.

Structuring and organising the content strategically, optimising the user journey and overall experience, and designing the key page types posed a significant challenge for the team.     Following a complete corporate rebranding, we redesigned the previously award-winning website that we had originally designed. Refreshed the site to align with the new brand guidelines and added custom, interactive illustrations to select pages. We redesigned the key page types, improved the user journey, and streamlined as well as reorganised the expanded content to enhance clarity and usability.

    Thanks to further refinements and enhancements, the new website went on to win the IR Society ‘Best Mid Cap Corporate Website’ award again the following year.
