    uniE608 Bucket of Truth
A short film I made in TV/Media class during my senior year of high school in 1999. The concept was inspired by an Upright Citizens Brigade sketch. It stars my friends and features a song by U.N.K.L.E. titled "Ape Shall Not Kill Ape (Cornelius Remix)". I wrote, directed and edited it with guidance from my TV/Media teacher. https://youtu.be/tUgsrKWxI8A
    uniE608 Catastrophic Convenience
As part of my graduating BFA capstone exhibition at Montana State University Billings, I created my own video game aided by Epic Games Unreal Engine. My game focuses on the harm done by the single-use plastic industry. A mac version of the game can be downloaded here: https://admiralawkward.itch.io/catastrophic-convenience or https://drive.google.com/file/d/15I9bKWvJLlov29xGa36xq6N-Ctx39w5D/view As a way of quickly presenting my work to audiences unwilling to take the time to play, I directed several short music videos highlighting the content. I also arranged the mashup soundtracks. https://youtu.be/8bDboj2lF4w?si=e8pCjuy_nZ6n-pfO https://youtu.be/Q7KJPC0HFkw?si=47IuTJhWyA_UbucF
uniE621 Catastrophic Convenience Exhibition Poster & Flyer
Poster & postcard for my fall 2023 graduating exhibition at MSUB. I created my own video game aided by Epic Games Unreal Engine and made a set of stencil spray-paint and marker posters to accompany them. My game focuses on the harm done by the single-use plastic industry. uniE621 Efficient Elevate
A collage piece focusing on the history of Levittowns in the United States and the mental effects of suburban sprawl.
    uniE621 Zelte III
My attempt at mimicking Eberhard Havekost's 'Zelte II' painting.
    uniE608 Mind's Ear
Inspired by Pierre Huyghe's Liminal exhibition at the Venice Biennale‪. I took inspiration from a variety of pieces in his exhibition, but I took the most inspiration from the Mind's Eye installation. https://www.pinaultcollection.com/palazzograssi/en https://www.frieze.com/article/pierre-huyghe The voiceover is taken from a talk by Jiddu Krishnamurti from 1985, titled "Silence is not separate from sound" in which he describes the ironic phenomena in which many people's pursuit of security will bring them more insecurity. I composed the soundtrack and used a audio to visual plug-in in Ableton to animate the video. Thank you to my professors at MSUB for taking us to see the exhibition in Italy. https://youtu.be/OpjzpSBkQ_o?si=M8tJyY8Ex2-UHkWP
