Akshita is a Classical Artist, Illustrator and Digital Creator working since 2014. After graduating from Barcelona Academy of Art, she currently plies her trade as a Fine Artist working primarily in oil paint and charcoal. With portraiture as her main area of interest she continues to explore the language of traditional oil painting, inspired by old masters such as Sargent, Rembrandt and Anders Zorn among others. Having majored in Journalism and Media Studies in Mumbai, India, art has always been her calling; so she combined the two and began illustrating for Writers and Journalists. She has created illustrations for articles, novels, children’s books and e-magazines. As well as designing logos, painting portraits, developing thematic conceptual art and much more. She also continues to expand her digital painting skills while creating and teaching animation on Procreate.
