Game Development Industry (Game Art, Game Design)
From growing up feeling like I wasn’t doing enough to feeling like I couldn’t settle on just one career, I’ve grown to be someone who was first given ten talents and then ten more upon being faithful. In addition, my mindset is so enraptured with a love for learning that I see everything as something to learn from. I’m always honing these skills in everything I do, as I only pursue what makes me joyful. As a result, my hobbies are the skills I aim to use to help mentor younger audiences as I fulfill my passions through the projects I create from them, be it directly in programs where I create or indirectly in the stories that I create. And on the side, I commission for everyone. In all of this, I self-run my own business, Vivid Visions True.
I’m a Creative Director with a background in Game Development (my major; I specialize in Game Art and Game Design), Creative Writing, Music Production, Acting (theater and TV), and Voice Acting, to name a few. I’m also a gaming YouTuber and aspiring VTuber! I’d say writing, drawing, and music would have to be my foundational skills, and I grew up on video games and PowerPoint animations. I love making project outlines.
I’ve tried my hand at animation, traditional comics, and manga, have even edited and scripted some stories for a manga format, and did a lot of 2D character designing up til I switched my major from Sequential Arts to Game Development. I also used to major in Animation before I majored in Sequential Arts, which is when I realized I was more of a character designer, and in Sequential Arts, I noticed how making comics was better as a hobby, and talking about Batman Arkham made me remember my love for games. Game Development gave me a lot of room to breathe and use the niche skills I learned growing up, so I stuck with it. I got a lot better at drawing backgrounds in the meantime, and now I’m a 3D modeler, texture artist, and level designer.
Lastly, I’m self-taught in Music Production and fell in love with it during high school. Since I couldn’t minor in Music Production or Sound Design at SCAD, I’m teaching myself how to make sound effects and Foley sounds, and I do songwriting, music track, and singing/voice acting commissions on Etsy for anime/video game fans and those with creative projects. I plan on adding this service to Freelance Commission sites like Fiverr.

“As it Were; As You Are” is a multi-genre visual novel game, where four Bible Stories are intertwined to tell the journey of one’s identity in the image of famous characters in the Bible. Prepare, play, decide, and battle your way through each story– canonical, non-canonical, or somewhere in between– and see how many endings you can get while witnessing the Glory of God happen in real time. Made by Amy Ruchian and Kennedy Grace Smith.
Finished in a span of four weeks, this is my rendered and final work for the Final Prototype of our game, in which I was Project Director, Project Manager, Game Narrative, UI Designer, Animator (Programmer), and 3D Modeler. This was created in tandem for my Portfolio and my and Kennedy’s Final Project Outreach for Christ Embassy’s Foundation School.
Here are some of my best works of music production (namely music for games) and sound design, made in Logic Pro X and Soundtrap between 2020 and 2024. Videos edited in Microsoft Clipchamp. I plan on including my SFX work here later on. All 2D digital art is made by me as well! Additional info on the Music Samples video and the remixes:
In the Music Samples video, you will find samples from my songs:
“Space Dreams” (Original; 2021)

You’ll find more details for each song in the video! I hope you all enjoy! Please note, for the remixes, while made for fun, I included them solely to express my skill, and am by no means
A- claiming the source content the remixes originate from as my own (all rights belong to their respective creators for the source content)
B- commissioning remixes for anyone; my remixes are made for fun and for practice. In the future, I can possibly do them for commissions, but I’m not sure if that’s safe to do or not as yet.
That said, here is the link to my shop if you’re interested, and please feel free to ask me any questions you have via Etsy’s messaging system!

These are rendered screenshots and videos of my finished work, “My Dream Bedroom,” in which I brought my dream bedroom to life in Unreal Engine 5! This was a self-project; I 3D modeled and textured everything in Maya and Adobe Substance Painter, and I’m very happy with the nostalgic and cozy touch from the lighting. I was inspired by childhood objects in my own home, and even some houses I’ve seen in St. Kitts, where my Mom’s side of the family is from. There, some houses don’t have ceilings, so you see the roof.
A compilation of some of my best UI Design work for “Dreamwave Melodies,” an inspired educational rhythm game remake of Vocaloid: Project Diva F.! Made in Microsoft PowerPoint. All sound effects are my own.
