This project is an exclusive NFT collection I created for a decentralized article voting system built on the blockchain, known as Snapshot. This one represent CityDAO. CityDAO is a groundbreaking project that aims to bring real-world land ownership onto the blockchain. By tokenizing parcels of land, it enables a decentralized community to collectively govern, develop, and manage physical property through smart contracts. Essentially, it’s an experiment in building a city of the future — owned, managed, and shaped by its citizens on-chain.
Yamadipati, the Lord of Death and Keeper of the Underworld, stands as the eternal arbiter of souls — a divine judge who governs the balance between sin and virtue. Draped in obsidian armor that glows with ember veins of justice, his gaze pierces through the veil of mortal deception. In one hand, he wields the Book of Karma, inscribed with the fate of every living being; in the other, the Staff of Retribution, which commands the flames that purge the wicked. His voice is said to echo like thunder across the gates of Naraka, summoning the spirits of the fallen to face the truth of their deeds. To the righteous, he is the guardian of cosmic order; to the sinful, the inescapable shadow that awaits at the end of life’s final breath.
In Japanese mythology, Enma, also known as Enma Daiō (閻魔大王) or the Great King Enma, is the ruler and judge of the underworld — Jigoku, the realm of the dead. Originally derived from the Hindu god Yama, Enma was adopted into Buddhist and Shinto beliefs, where he became the supreme arbiter of souls. He sits upon a grand throne in the Court of the Dead, surrounded by scribes who record every deed a person committed during life. When a soul arrives before him, Enma reads from the Book of Karma, weighing each action to determine the spirit’s fate — whether it deserves rebirth, purification, or torment in one of the many hells. Enma is often depicted as a stern, imposing figure with fiery eyes, red or dark skin, wearing traditional robes and a judge’s cap. Despite his terrifying appearance, he is not purely evil — he is a divine enforcer of justice, ensuring balance between sin and virtue. His role reflects the moral law of cause and effect central to Buddhist belief: that every action carries a consequence, and even kings must face judgment before Enma
