uniE621 Legacy Partners | Brand Identity | Sign Mockup
At Cavazos Creative, I believe every brand has a unique story to tell. When Legacy Partners, a Texas Hill Country real estate brokerage, approached me, I saw an opportunity to create a brand that reflected their integrity, deep expertise, and passion for community. Here's a look at the design decisions that shaped this sophisticated and authentic brand identity. Understanding the Legacy Partners Story Founded by John Sawyer, Legacy Partners is more than a brokerage—they are trusted advisors guiding clients through one of life's most significant investments. Their brand values—honor and integrity, excellence and knowledge, and a passion for community—needed to be visually represented in a way that felt both timeless and approachable. The goal was to craft an identity that spoke to their professionalism while remaining warm and relatable. Design Decisions and Visual Elements Color Palette: Warm, Grounded, and Sophisticated The color palette features a confident teal blue paired with a vibrant terracotta accent, grounded by neutral grays. These tones were chosen to evoke trust, intelligence, warmth, and stability. LP Blue: A deep teal representing trust and professionalism. LP Clay: A vibrant terracotta accent symbolizing their passion for community. Neutral Grays: Offering balance and flexibility. Typography: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity I selected two free, easily accessible fonts to ensure agents could maintain brand consistency without purchasing licenses. Playfair Display Italic for headlines adds prestige and timelessness. Source Sans Pro for body text ensures readability and a modern feel. Logo System: Strength and Precision While the owner initially wanted a crest, a local competitor already used one. To maintain differentiation, we retained the concept of a shield—symbolizing protection and trust—and applied a mirrored monogram. This created a modern, clean, and balanced design that conveys structure and reliability. Creative Direction: Storytelling Through Imagery Legacy Partners' photography direction focuses on authenticity and human connection. The visuals are emotive and highlight expressions and gestures, reinforcing their dedication to personal service. Why These Choices Matter Every design element was carefully considered to align with Legacy Partners' mission of empowering clients with confidence and clarity. The new visual identity positions them as a beacon of reliability and sophistication in the Texas Hill Country, helping them stand out while staying true to their values. It was an honor to collaborate with John Sawyer and the Legacy Partners team. Their passion for excellence inspired every aspect of the design process, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their mission. branding

    uniE621 Coffee Shop Logo Concept
This is one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on so far. Years ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to visit a coffee farm in Costa Rica. It was a fabulous experience... I realized I actually like plain black coffee (it's amazing the difference in good quality coffee) and more recently, small cafes in San Miguel de Allende, MX created an inspiring, peaceful and welcoming environment for me and my husband to create connections. Communities are created over a cup of coffee. I drew from my experiences there to inspire the direction of the brand. I incorporated the grounded, warm, inviting, and vibrant colors to capture the rich cultures found all over the world. The primary orange color was pulled from several reference photos of cultures from Africa to Costa Rica. The idea of globally sourced coffee and travel is reflected through the use of the compass rose and coffee cup in the logo. The compass rose also mirrors the elaborate and stunning designs found on Costa Rican oxcarts (Carretas) that transport the coffee across the country. If you haven't seen one, click here to read up on the beautiful tradition or better yet, go visit a coffee plantation in Costa Rica! graphicdesigner designer branding logo
    uniE621 Food Truck Logo Concept
This is a logo concept for a food truck called Buns on the Run. This is your go-to destination for handcrafted burgers served with a side of convenience. Our food truck brings the comfort and satisfaction of a homemade burger right to your fingertips, no matter where you are. With a menu featuring a variety of burger options, from juicy beef patties to flavorful veggie burgers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. My thought process was to bring in feel-good nostalgia through the color palette and photography curation. I wanted to add some playfulness and quirkiness by using the minimalistic cartoon mascot. Is it just me or does his little lettuce look like a little cape? branding graphicdesigner logo designer

    uniE621 Whitestone Cabinets | Branding
A local business owner recently contacted me regarding creating a logo and visual identity for their custom cabinet company. Whitestone Cabinets offers exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service from the cabinet creation to the room design, everything is fully customized. They focus on understanding the client’s unique needs and preferences, with the end goal of recreating a space with peace and joy incorporated into daily living. The goal for this project was to create an identity that embraces the core qualities of the Texas Hill Country’s unique personality which seamlessly embraces both luxury and casual approchibility. The final identity embraces characteristics inspired by old knobby oak trees, perfectly aged whiskey, and sleek marble. It is instilled with the core values of integrity, heritage, and superior craftsmanship. branding graphicdesigner logo designer
