I began my career as a professional trumpeter and conductor, earning an undergraduate degree from Kingston University before completing a Master's in Music Performance, Analysis, and Composition. Over more than twenty years as a performing musician, conductor, and bandleader, I developed a deep understanding of how music functions at a professional level — from the pit to the podium. That experience led naturally into theatre production, where I built a reputation as a musical fixer, arranger, director, and producer. Over the past decade I have written, produced, and toured original work to venues including the Cairo Opera House and the London Palladium, and served as Musical Director for West End and recording artist Darius Campbell. As Founder and Creative Director of Barisons Theatre Productions Ltd, I have spent the last several years focusing increasingly on original composition for screen and stage. My compositional credits include Bruce Lee the Musical, Gangster Granny (a children's musical), and The Witcher's Tale (gothic rock opera), and I am currently composing Breakdance the Musical. I am also scoring AZADEH — A Musical Film and developing music for a new S4C's Day Dreamer Dai pitch. I bring broadcast-standard production skills, a strong instinct for musical identity, and twenty years of experience collaborating under pressure with directors and production teams who have exacting creative visions.
