I am a freelance illustrator and graphic designer with over 20 years under my belt creating visual solutions that best meet the needs of a given client, application, scenario, space, or challenge. Sometimes, I can create lightning in a bottle, and there it is - the perfect solution. But most of the time, it’s just hard work, lots of brainstorming, and numerous doodles and scribbles to finally come up with the ideal solution. Despite the challenges, I love the creative process. My primary goal is to deliver effective visual communication from the initial concept to the final launch while meeting killer deadlines, strict budgets, and high expectations. I work closely with other creative teams to ensure that we meet the end client's needs and produce award-winning creative that helps the team win accounts. My diverse skill set includes digital illustration in raster and vector, traditional illustration, storyboards and presentation comps, ideation and focus group sketching, character development and creation, and product design. Drawing on these I strive to create high-impact presentations that leave a lasting impression. I have worked alongside various advertising agencies, marketing and promotion firms, design groups, event companies, and architects including The Marketing Arm, Freeman Company, Rapp, Publicis, The Richards Group, Tracy Lock, DDB, Frito-Lay, Pepsi, Gensler Architects, as well as editorial magazines and book publishers such as Time Magazine, and Wall Street Journal. In addition to my professional work, I also specialize in large-scale murals and wall graphics for institutional, corporate, professional, retail, entertainment, and event spaces in various mediums including hand-painted, chalk, digital, and even mosaic. I design and illustrate event brand activations, in-store displays, packaging, and collateral promotional pieces. I have extensive knowledge of print production, outdoor advertising, and event/display construction management. I use digital applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, InDesign, Procreate, and SketchUp. Some selected highlights include painting a mural for Tom Brady, designing and hand-painting wall art for Louis Vuitton, working with Disney to design D23 Expo, working with Steve Martin, Billy Crystal and LeAnn Rimes on children’s books, illustrations for Wall Street Journal, working closely with Freeman Company to design expo graphics and 4 gigantic graphic entrances for IAAPA Expo ’22 & ’23.
