Hi there, I'm Calvin, a writer, producer and consultant. I am currently working on launching an online publication with a focus on telling the real stories of the people behind small businesses and artisans around Scotland. Together with a photographer/videographer, we produce long form articles and micro-documentaries telling the story of industries people may not know much about. So far, we have covered an apiary, generational bagpipe maker, knife maker, dairy farm, butter maker, furniture maker and more. I also write fiction, focussed on surrealism and sometimes with an influence from Scottish folklore. In my consultancy role I and help venues design guest journeys, menus and events that reflect their local culture and craft. I have given talks worldwide about idea generation and managing teams of different backgrounds. I am currently coming to the end of a degree in English and have been asked to present research from my current dissertation at the British Conference for Undergraduate Research 2026. I am incredibly interested in writing for games and plan to begin a master degree this year that will allow me to pursue this further. I hope to hear from you.
