I'm a musician and composer from Chicago. I studied Composition and Music Theory at the University Chicago and recently graduated from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring program under the direction of Emmy Award-winning composer Hummie Mann. I specialize in jazz, classical, contemporary film, and rock music styles, but I love listening to and writing just about every type of music. Some of my favorite film composers include Mica Levi, Johnny Greenwood, and Johann Johannson. PNWFS taught me tons of useful skills in the world of film scoring including copying, orchestrating, arranging, use of timecodes, use of DAWs (including Logic, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, and Cubase), use of notation software (including Dorico, Sibelius, and Finale), and how to write for film in general. I'd love an opportunity to use any of these skills on your project. Prior to my work in film scoring, I spent most of my time writing, recording, and playing music in bands. In 2021, the city of Chicago awarded me a grant to write an album of solo material, which I expect out in 2022. My primary band Cordoba has recorded one full-length LP and has a second one due out in 2023. We were invited to showcase at SXSW and have toured the US.
