Hello! I’m Coyanne Granderson, born and raised in Sacramento, California. In 2019, I embarked on an exciting journey to Southern California to prepare myself for my art career studying at UCLB. My art is inspired by beloved childhood shows like Clifford and Charlie and Lola, as well as magical girl series such as Princess Tutu and Ojamajo Doremi, aiming to capture the whimsy and adventure of my youth through simple designs that emphasize color and texture to convey the enchanting worlds of my characters. I primarily create using Procreate due to its user-friendly interface and accessibility, but I also have a fondness for acrylic gouache, colored pencils, and alcohol markers due to seeing how everything comes to life compared to my digital screen.
