Danny is a composer with over 10 years experience making music for various media and designing adaptive music experiences. He has composed music for productions by Sky TV and National Geographic, as well as many independent films and video games. He also has a prolific output of Production Music listed with BMG, Shutterstock, and many other catalogues. As an orchestrator he has credits on productions ranging from Attenborough documentaries, Marvel films and video games, and Netflix series such as The Crown.
Danny is also involved in the fast-moving innovation surrounding adaptive music. He worked for the pioneering startup LifeScore for several years, helping to design and create adaptive music systems that accompany real-world experiences like driving, sport and meditation. He is fluent in audio middleware programs Wwise and Fmod, and proficient in Max/MSP and Ableton’s Max for Live to create modular and adaptive music systems. For example, a Max device that plays an adaptive musical score by reacting in real-time to biometric inputs such as brainwaves, heart rate, and body temperature, made as a prototype for a medical company with wearable biometric technology that curates therapeutic experiences for their clients.
Danny has a Masters Degree in Composition for Screen from the RCM, and an Undergraduate Degree and a Gold Medal Award for Composition from the RNCM.
