Development of a custom WooCommerce platform for personalized clothing, focused on scalable product management and automated generation of embroidery-based product visuals.

Challenge

The core challenge was handling personalized embroidery across multiple products, colors, and variations without manually creating product images for each combination. This process was time-consuming, error-prone, and not scalable for a growing product catalog.

Approach

To solve this, I developed a custom WordPress plugin that automates the generation of product images by merging embroidery designs with base product visuals. The system allows administrators to upload embroidery assets, select product variations, and automatically generate optimized images for each combination. In parallel, the platform was modernized by migrating from the Classic editor to Gutenberg, improving content flexibility and maintainability, while overall performance and checkout flow were optimized, including integration with the NestPay payment system.
