I am a hardworking, resourceful animator and recent graduate who loves to develop compelling, unique characters that an audience can connect with. I have worked on multiple short films, including "Croaked", "Melody of the Moor", and "Newsance", which has provided me in-depth knowledge of a fast-paced production pipeline, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills that I am eager to bring to your studio.
I am detail-oriented and am eager to help where I can. As a lead on the short film Croaked, I utilized Flow Production Tracking to manage each stage of production, tracking shot timelines, organizing roles, and delivering notes on asset progress. Due to taking detailed schedule notes on Flow and a separate excel spreadsheet, I was able to quickly and efficiently reassign animation shots when the production schedule required. During post-production, the film fell behind schedule due to short staffing. I learned Nuke and was able to light and composite 6 key shots, ultimately getting the film got back on track.

I am always excited to understand how things work and learn from those around me. During my previous role as animation lead on the short film "Croaked", I worked closely with the rigging team to design the movement capabilities of each character. When the facial rig of the main character couldn’t achieve the dramatic squash and stretch capacities that our director wanted, I spent 4 days collaborating with a rigging artist making animation tests and troubleshooting creative ideas. Our shared knowledge and communication resulted in a versatile rig that was effective and easy for the animation crew to use. I am organized and manage time well, assisting production timelines and producing quality work. While working on “Melody of the Moor”, I was tasked with organizing weekly storyboards from story artists into a presentation package for dailies, ensuring the director saw them in order and labeled. This kept dailies on task and streamlined. I also kept detailed notes during production meetings.
