Foreign Sounds is about two lovers who simply went their separate ways but it
clearly left one of them sad, devastated and questioning how it ended up the way it did. But through his/her
questioning he/she comes to a conclusion, saying that it was bound to fall, and now he/she is trying to find closure and peace.
I wanted foreign sounds to be an acoustic song, I was really inspired by bon iver’s album “For Emma, Forever Ago” and I wanted my song to have that type of atmosphere to it. But after I laid down the acoustic guitars, harmonies and vocals I knew I could do something different with it.
Being a fan of shoegaze and psychedelic rock, I wanted to incorporate some of those elements to the song using my electric guitar because I thought it would bring a lot more character to it. Blending these two genres was tough but I balanced it out by keeping the song acoustic until the first pre chorus and then accenting more of the electric guitars later throughout the song.
The solo was inspired by john Frusciante, songs like “look on “and “ramparts” respectively helped me with the ending of the song. Instead of being technically proficient I tried to show as much emotion as possible while playing the solo in order to make the listener really feel. I was also inspired by his reverse guitar technique, so I used it in my solo, blending it with the song.
Drums and bass were plugins that I found in spit fire audio. In order to make the ending sound big I used
saturation on the bass and used a ride cymbal for the drums, so it sounds fuller.
Flow of try-Sonarium (RnB/Funk)
Flow of Try is a track by Sonarium on which I collaborated as a guitarist and bassist, composing all guitar melodies and performing the bass parts. The song carries a laid-back funk feel with a deep pocket and groove, with all parts developed organically through live jamming.
I would’ve come by- BICK (Indie Rock)
Blick is an indie artist from Sweden, and I collaborated with him as the drummer on this track. Keeping the arrangement simple, I focused on supporting and enhancing the song rather than being flashy, serving the music and its emotional core.
New Day- Shrinking Violet
Shrinking Violet is an artist based in Athens, Greece, and this project marked my first collaboration. I composed and arranged the song before sending it as a demo, which led to an immediate collaboration. I also performed the guitar parts on the track
efe ÖzÜlkÜ-777 (cupids bow)
Efe Özüklü is an artist I met in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He invited me to collaborate on his song 777, an indie-pop track driven by melancholic, vintage-sounding guitars. I performed all guitar parts on the track.
Stereo Hues began as an improvisational jam project and evolved into a fully realised debut album. As the band’s creative director and lead engineer, I oversaw the artistic vision, composition development, recording process, mixing, and release strategy. I led the transition from loose jams to structured compositions, shaped the band’s sonic identity, and coordinated rehearsals, studio sessions, promotion, and live performances, guiding the project from its earliest stages to a completely refined album, it will be release soon on all platforms to listen to. (this is one of the songs from the album)
This project involved full sound design for an action-heavy animated film scene. I built the soundtrack from the ground up, creating ambience, dialogue, foley, sound effects, and score. Using field recordings, detailed vocal processing, custom foley and heavily processed effects, I focused on realism, scale and emotional impact. The project deepened my understanding of cinematic sound workflows and became one of the most challenging and rewarding pieces of work I’ve completed.
This track was created for a Greek filmmaker and is heavily influenced by Gustavo Santaolalla and The Last of Us. Using a Gretsch guitar for its weight and texture, alongside drones and field recordings, I crafted a melodic score that captures the emotional depth and atmosphere characteristic of that sound.
