June 1, 2024 - PresentWorking as part of the localisation team on high-profile productions, including shows for streaming platforms and films for cinematic release. Preparing each version for mixing, working with ADR sessions supplied from international studios and editing dialogue – track cleanup, tracklaying, adjusting sync, and sourcing/flagging missing audio. Quality Control operator for various sound formats prior to final delivery – primarily 7.1 and 5.1 theatrical, Dolby Atmos, and 5.1 and 2.0 Nearfield mixes. Consulting documents to aid checks and ensure client decisions are adhered to, including localisation/narrative text lists, lead sheets and dialogue lists. Working to deadlines to help keep the department on track with its often tight schedule so that all assets are delivered on time.

July 1, 2022 - November 30, 2023Worked as part of a busy post facility, efficiently navigating fast-paced and stressful situations. Prepared Cue Sheets for ADR sessions, allowing the ADR assistants to quickly and easily distribute them and helping the sessions run without delays. Handled and delivered sensitive data – ensuring drives and LTOs were where they needed to be, were logged properly and were kept secure. Learned from, shadowed and trained with the sound team in quiet periods and own time – in particular with the ADR Recordists and Assistants, but also with the Mix Technicians and Sound Editorial. Took opportunities to practice sound skills and contribute to staff members’ personal projects – e.g. working on the dialogue edit of Lobo, a bilingual short film that was brought in by one of the ADR mixers, and was selected for the 2023 Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca and Norwich Film Festival.
