Babylips By Maybelline

The idea for Baby Lips came from a simple insight: young consumers wanted care that looked edgy and fun. They were drawn to makeup, but still needed protection and hydration. The goal was to bridge skincare and self-expression — to make lip balm feel as desirable as a lipstick.
The concept is framed around “lip care with attitude.” The design is bold, playful, and instantly recognizable, something that could live in a teen’s handbag as much as on Instagram.
When launched, Baby Lips didn’t just sell — it shifted the category. Lip balm became a beauty accessory, and hydration turned into a lifestyle statement.
Baby Lips proved that even a small object could carry a big idea: make care playful, and beauty becomes a key driver.
