I’m Emilie Scalise, a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Smyrna, Georgia. I am completing a BFA in Graphic Design at Columbus State University in 2026, and I work hands-on with murals, portraits, and heirloom artworks at Barware Pottery & Crafts Studio, LLC. My practice blends digital design with traditional painting, and I am passionate about art as a tool for personal healing and community connection.
My current thesis project explores the health, well-being, and advocacy for the female body, and I aim to translate this research into meaningful art and outreach. Alongside my studio work, I co-founded Strides For Survivors, a breast cancer nonprofit, to empower others through creativity and exposure. I hope to continue expanding art’s impact by combining research, teaching, and public-facing projects.
