2D Animation project I did when we learnt how to animate following sound track.

It is a personal project if La-Roche Posay ever wanted to launch their Fnb Line. The La Roche-Posay brand is based on thermal spring water from a French town by the same name, famous for 6 centuries for its soothing, healing properties and a core ingredient in most of their products.

Without removing the originality of the brand image, I tried to create something a little different, with more fun colours that would help represent “The Art of Fresh Indulgence.”

Theia lives in a medium sized asteroid with her family and her bestfriend, a space alpaca named Borp. Every day after school she brings her alpaca to pasture in the star field Borp takes his sweet time feeding on little star flowers, which leaves Theia with lots of time to read her precious books.

It is more like a children series, with the setting of artic expedition, during ancient civilization and targeted for 6-10 years old children.

“The Chosen Warriors” is a pitch deck for my Independent Work Project that follows the main character, Yichen, and his future friend, Zhiyuan, as they embark on a journey to liberate the oppressed beast clan and uncover the real truth of the world.

This was one of my studio projects in school, where my teammates and I created a mixed media animation with a stop-motion feel. The story follows a shivering homeless man who befriends a long cat, both struggling to survive the harsh winter. Together, they use their unique forms to keep warm.

A nerdy guy awaits his tinder date in a cafe, is shocked to find her true identity. He panics and dashes out of the cafe, only to get hit by a speedy truck. He then wakes up with an unexpected new appearance and a sweet romance.

A project done with my teammates for another mix media animation. I was in charge of the 2D Character design, illustrations, storyboards, and 2D animation. We hoped to bring some twist from the unexpected misfortune that our main character experienced.

In a Japanese-themed museum, Rockina, a rock, enters a beauty competition but loses due to modern standards. Heartbroken, she finds a hidden room with tools to change herself. As she begins to alter her appearance, the Kitsune spirit from a nearby statue, who has been watching her, intervenes and restores her to her original form. Rockina then realizes she is perfect as she is and leaves the museum with a renewed sense of self-acceptance.

This is my Final Year Project done with my groupmates, I was the 2D main concept artist and the sole 2D animator for a group project titled “Natural Carves,” a mixed media animation. With the collaboration of a Japanese exchange student, we were able to produce the project successfully.
