Hi, I’m Titania Krimpas. I studied at the University of Birmingham and trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama. In 1998/1999 I was Arts Council trainee director for Shared Experience and Salisbury Playhouse (mentored by Katie Mitchell). In 2009 I completed a part-time MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa. I’ve project managed for Michael Rosen, worked with storytellers, and directed over 40 plays in drama schools. In 2023/24 I was awarded an Arts Council grant to develop my Creative Practice exploring all things sonic—poetry and audio.
I write for stage and screen, create immersive storytelling projects, and collaborate across theatre, dance, and digital media. My work includes Embody XR writing and dramaturgy for VR, podcasting with The Wireless Reader, and live readings of new manuscripts at Barbican and other venues. I’m passionate about making provocative, accessible stories that connect with families and communities.
