Greetings, My name is Florence E. James, artistically known as Evre (every). I am interested in working in entertainment as a singer, model and/or actor. I value music, people and education. With all three, I have given back through teaching, meeting the needs of my students and community. As a first generation college graduate, I’ve completed a Bachelor of Music Education degree from The University of Southern Mississippi as well as a Master of Teaching degree at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I have studied and obtained degrees and positions that have been fulfilling and am now pursuing my passion as a entertainer. I have over a decade of training as a musician where I’ve developed my gifts, talents and abilities that continues to expand as well as diversify my character. I can read sheet music, compose, write lyrics, and perform. I excel in creativity, innovation and communication. And when it comes to people I have a spirit that brings about optimism and hope to all I encounter. I am a former music educator, Chicago Public School District and private vocal and piano lessons in my spare time. I also volunteer to accompany with piano as an instructor working one-on-one with Sopranos, Altos, Tenor and Basses to ensure vocal parts for After School Matters (HHW) Downtown Chicago.
