    Otherness is a solo-developed psychological horror game that explores themes of mental health, isolation, and identity. Built in Godot, the project focuses on emotional immersion rather than traditional jump scares, using sound design, environmental storytelling, and subtle direction to evoke unease and empathy.

    The game’s atmosphere draws inspiration from works like Silent Hill, Jacob’s Ladder and Twin Peaks, blending liminal environments, symbolic imagery, and unsettling realism. Combat is intentionally fragile and improvised, emphasizing the player’s vulnerability and heightening tension during exploration.

    As the sole developer, I am responsible for programming, art direction, 3D modeling, lighting, animation, sound design, and marketing, overseeing the project’s entire creative and technical pipeline.

    • Shigamaibo is a browser-based game where players adopt and take care of a digital pet, inspired by Tamagotchis;
    • This project was developed using Node.js for the backend server and MySQL for data storage, hosted on Railway. The frontend is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and relies on animated GIF’s to represent the pet’s different moods and states;
    • The primary goal of the project was to explore full-stack web development with persistent gameplay elements. Served as a practical exercise in REST API
      integration, server-side logic, state management and database design, while also incorporating simple game design elements.
