I recently worked on a collaborative project with the rest of my Applied Arts Lab class as an Art Lead to illustrate social stories for VCU Hospital’s burn ward. Specifically, we developed social stories for neurodivergent kids/teens in the hospital, that will better inform them about their procedures and what to expect. I am now currently working with them to design the burn ward’s new mascot. I have also been tasked to do graphic design work with the Stravitz-Sanyal Institute for Liver Disease and Metabolic Health, and I was able to work with my team to design and provide graphics to be used in presentations.
