Huling Sayaw Ni Erlinda (2024) – Original Short Film Score

I composed the original musical score for Huling Sayaw Ni Erlinda (2024), an award-winning dramatic short film. The score was written to support the film’s emotional storytelling, using expressive themes and cinematic orchestration to enhance the characters’ journey and the narrative’s most poignant moments.

The music was carefully synchronized to picture, reinforcing the film’s pacing, emotional depth, and dramatic impact while allowing the story to unfold naturally. Throughout the project, I focused on creating a cohesive musical language that strengthened the connection between the audience and the film’s central themes.

Huling Sayaw Ni Erlinda received the Best Short Film award at the 72nd FAMAS Awards (Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences), making this project a significant milestone in my career as a film composer.
